Discover the Dioriviera Beverly Hills Pop-Up
Aesthetically and otherwise, the Beverly Hills Hotel is one of the most iconic destinations there is. It’s certainly one of my favorite places in all of Los Angeles. The hotel’s iconic pool — with its pink cabanas, green striped loungers, banana-leaf printed umbrellas and lush greenery, all in that signature pink-and-green palette — is recognized all over the world. So it feels like a pretty big deal that the hotel gave a fashion brand carte blanche to transform all of it. Of course, it’s not just any brand: It’s Dior.
Last Friday morning, to kick off Memorial Day weekend, Beverly Hills Hotel guests woke up to find the entire pool area transformed overnight in honor of Dior’s latest Dioriviera capsule, an assortment of summer-ready apparel and accessories — much of which comes in a pink-and-grey color palette, including a signature toile de Jouy print. (The brand used said print to replace every pool lounger, umbrella and cabana curtain throughout the space.) The redesign also highlights a newly erected poolside “Le Jardin des Rêves” spa cabana only available to hotel guests, who can choose from four (two facial, two body) treatments incorporating Dior Beauty skin-care products.
Overlooking the pool area, the brand built a pink-carpeted Dioriviera pop-up shop designed to feel like a “mesmerizing sandcastle,” in which animals and Lady Dior bags alike appear to be emerging from mountains of sand.
There, guests can purchase dresses, bikinis and handbags in the toile de Jouy print, as well as Beverly Hills exclusive items including the Beverly Hills Book Tote.
The Dioriviera pop-up is open through Sept. 4.
