Inside Heimat: The Nicest Gym in Los Angeles

Depending on my schedule, I could spend an entire day at the gym. Am I a crazy workout fanatic? Not in the slightest. It just so happens that I recently joined a private members-only gym in Los Angeles that offers much more than your traditional floor of workout equipment.

I can arrive around 7am, pull my car into the valet, and have a quick coffee in the lobby cafe. I make my way up to the second floor, to store my belongings in the marble-lined locker room before heading to an 8am Pilates Reformer class. After class, I can step into some Kundalini Yoga for a nice meditation to start the day. After my workout, I go back to the spa-like locker room where I sauna and shower off, drying my hair with the stocked Dyson blow-dryer.

Now it’s 9am and time to get some work in. I snag a spot in the co-working space upstairs, work a few hours before taking a lunch meeting at Mother Tongue, the resident restaurant helmed by award-winning chef Michael Mina. The weather is great by afternoon, so I take my laptop and finish my work by the rooftop pool.

By day’s end, I can meet a friend for a sunset drink at the bar, or get a manicure or vitamin IV drip at the spa. If a bit tired, I could even take a nap in the relaxation room.

If this sounds like the most lavish gym experience, you’re right. Meet, Heimat, the nicest gym in Los Angeles, and maybe in the world.

Every inch of the 75,000 Heimat space is well thought out. Heimat has emerged as a sanctuary of luxury and well-being. With its unparalleled amenities, cutting-edge facilities, and personalized approach to fitness, Heimat redefines the gym experience for its discerning members.
